I was delighted to hear that George Yiapanas has been able to write this book. George has great experience of safety and security in football and I have visited his stadium on several occasions. He has also enjoyed recent academic success in this subject. I am certain this book will be useful for helping Greek-speaking countries to improve the safety and security at their sports grounds
This is the first book of its kind to be published in Greek, based on the procedures followed in accordance with the Legislation in Cyprus, and the directives of FIFA and UEFA aiming at the safe organisation of sporting events
